Save supported Wistia videos from the page where you watch them.

Install vidolet for ChromeHow to save
Open the website containing the Wistia player and start the video there.
Choose a video and quality
Click the vidolet toolbar icon, choose a detected video and an available quality, then click Download.
Wait until the file is ready
Keep the download tab open. When the status is Ready to save, click Save and choose a file name and location.
To save several ready videos, use Save ready videos and choose a folder once. The files are saved one by one.
If the video is missing or preparation fails
Use the page containing the player; you do not need to find or paste a separate video URL.
Reload the original video page, start playback and select the video again in vidolet. Keep any required access to the original page.
Support and limits
We verified a public Wistia HLS sample at 360p, saved it as MP4 and checked the complete video and audio. Other embeds, qualities and restricted videos were not verified.
Available quality comes from the source video. vidolet does not upscale it.
Only save videos you own or have permission to download. DRM-protected videos, live streams and DASH are not supported.

Questions about this site
Do I need a separate Wistia video link?
No. Start playback on the page containing the player and open the vidolet popup there. You do not need to copy a media URL into this website.
Is 360p the maximum Wistia quality?
No. 360p describes our tested sample. Available choices depend on the video and what vidolet detects. Other Wistia qualities, Channels and login-restricted pages have not been verified.
Why do I need to wait before saving?
For supported HLS videos, vidolet prepares the file first. Save becomes available when preparation is complete. Keep the download tab open; closing or reloading it can discard the prepared file.
Are subtitles included?
vidolet does not currently offer separate subtitle downloads or add subtitle tracks to the saved video. Subtitle support is not part of this guide.
